Entertainment industry has been booming. The popularity of different entertainment genres is contributing to the flourish of the worldwide entertainment sector. Directors, actors, other technicians and creative personnel like cinematographer, choreographer, and script writer work day and night to produce best movies and reap profits in profusion. Movies are made on different genres like action, romance, adventure, suspense, thriller, comedy and many more. Horror movie is a particular entertainment type. The horror films can be characterized as a combination of thrill and suspense that offer bloodcurdling entertainment to the viewers. To feel such spine-chilling sensation, the entertainment seekers eagerly wait for the DVD release of upcoming horror movies. The ingredients of a horror movie are basically supernatural elements that heap the viewers with scary sensations. Like all other movies, it too has a hero, a heroine, a comedian, a villain and a super villain-cum- ghost. A far cry from a romantic genre, horror movies lack romantic dose for the youngsters and emotional family drama for the common people. Not out and out a comedy, these movies have some comic elements to lighten the mood of the audience whenever the frightening thrills go up. The fight between a hero and a super villain, a common man and a supernatural power is the basic storyline of horror flicks. The people whose mind feed on the sensation of fear and fright are not at ease while waiting for the DVD release of any latest movie. A horror movie come s alive as a perfect entertainer with great graphics and special effects that make the flesh of the audience creep. The background sound of these movies is a most important factor to make the audience feel rooted to their seats out of horror. The sound effect is sometimes screaming while hush-hush off and on. It is often said that the sound is the key to making the scary movies successful. You might have noticed that. Isn’t it? As far as Hindi movies are concerned, the basic things that they have in common are a spirit in an absolutely white guise approaching on the sly other characters, the shrieking sound of an opening door, flesh-triggering screams of the spirit and many others. After the DVD release, you may buy it from the real-life shops or go for online shopping. The suspense element of a horror movie plays a great role in maximizing the box office collection for the producer. This is because even if a movie is not liked by the viewers but they stick to their chairs to find out what actually is going to happen ultimately or who the spirit is. As far as the DVD release is concerned, the scary movies that most of the entertainment seekers prefer include ‘Circle of Eight’, ‘Day of the Dead’, ‘Daybreakers’, ‘Triangle’, ‘Case 39’, ‘Saw VI’ and many more. A horror movie is the fancy of those people who like to be lost in the imaginary world of thrills, suspense and adventure. The most important thing is the addition of little bit humor to lighten the sensational atmosphere and helps the viewers be ready for the imminent frightening scene in the film.
